Minimalist and then some.

Henner Jahns

Henner grew up above his parents' toy store – what better way to fuel his curiosity for form and function.

An industrial designer by trade and Art Center Alumni, he founded Gecco Vision in 1996 in New York City. In 1999 he moved the studio to Los Angeles, where he co-founded dTank Inc, a revolutionary furniture company that designed and manufactured custom workstations and furniture for corporate clients.

Henner has completed award-winning work for a diverse group of clients in Europe and the U.S.

With more than 25 years of experience, we have vast knowledge from a wide range of projects.

Our designs have generated more than $1 billion in revenue, been exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art, and won many international design awards. We are thoughtful in our approach and communication and use research, insights, and experience in each market sector to develop highly successful products.

Whether our clients seek to break new ground or enhance a successful product line, understanding our partners' unique DNA and culture leads to the most successful outcomes.

With our expertise and passion for design, we are committed to telling your story in a compelling way and making your product a success.

Our designs have been described as clean and focused, following a minimalist approach. Yet we also believe a product must inspire its user and come to life. For that to happen, clean is sometimes just not quite right.

To disrupt or innovate, one must sometimes break the rules, embrace and elevate different ideas. That can lead to moments where something does not seem to make sense at first but just feels right.

Successful innovation is not just about pursuing an unorthodox idea but about having a process in place where hitting inevitable forks in the road is essential to finding the right path.

Finding the right solution is often related to perception: Any given object might appear off until it is placed in the right environment.

The result is a carefully crafted product that will fit right in.
